What is StepsStamp?

StepsStamp is a revolutionary platform where you earn crypto rewards for moving! Built on Binance Smart Chain (BSC), StepsStamp uses “Proof of Movement (POM)” – every step you take counts as 1 POM to unlock rewards.

What is “Proof of movement”?

Proof of Movement (PoM) is an innovative concept that leverages blockchain technology to incentivize physical movement. It's a new consensus mechanism that rewards users for their physical movement. One Proof of movement is equal to 1 Step taken by the user.

Do I get any tokens for indoor workouts like treadmill running etc?

No. Indoor workouts are reflected in your step count, however they don’t qualify as “Normalized Steps” required to mint the SSBT. Tokens are only rewarded for natural steps taken to go from point A to Point B.

How does the app track my steps?

Our app uses the phone’s built-in sensors, such as the accelerometer and gyroscope, to detect movements that match a walking pattern. This data is then processed by our proprietary algorithm, which translates as a ‘Normalised step’ count.

Why does my step count increase when I shake the phone?

Phone sensors detect all motion, and shaking can sometimes mimic the pattern of walking steps. However, our algorithm eliminates artificial movements and displays only the normalised step count on the app.

How can I get the most accurate step count?

For the best accuracy, keep your phone in a stable position, like in a pocket or attached to your body. Avoid frequently moving it around or shaking it, as this can interfere with accurate step detection.

Can the app tell the difference between walking and other activities like cycling?

Yes, the app uses activity recognition APIs that can detect different activities, including walking, running, and cycling. These APIs help filter out non-walking activities so the step count remains accurate. SSBT(StepsStamp Blockchain Tokens) can only be mined via actual walking activity.

Does the app work when it’s running in the background?

Yes, our app can continue to count steps and track your activity even when it’s running in the background, provided you’ve granted the necessary permissions for background activity.

Why is there a discrepancy between my steps on this app and other fitness apps?

Each app may use slightly different algorithms and settings for step counting. Differences in sensor sensitivity, activity filtering, and distance thresholds can lead to minor variations in step counts across apps.

How often does the app update my step count?

The app updates your step count in real time as it detects new steps. However, for better battery life, step counts are sometimes batched and updated periodically.

Does the app use my location data to calculate steps?

While the app primarily uses motion sensors to calculate steps, location data may be used periodically to verify movement accuracy and improve step detection. This data is only used for accuracy purposes and is not shared or stored.

What permissions are required for step counting?

The app requires access to motion and fitness data for step counting, and location permissions are needed for enhanced accuracy in tracking movement. Background permissions may also be required for continuous tracking.

Will step counting drain my battery?

Step counting is optimized to minimize battery usage by using low-power motion sensors. However, continuous background activity and frequent location checks may use more battery, especially on longer tracking sessions.

How accurate is the step counting?

Our app aims to achieve high accuracy by using both motion sensors and activity recognition. Small differences may occur based on the phone’s position, the environment, and specific activities, but we strive to provide reliable step counts.

How do I report an issue with step counting accuracy?

If you notice inconsistencies, please reach out via our Support section in the app, and provide details about the issue. We’re constantly working to improve accuracy, and your feedback is valuable.

What is a StepsStamp Blockchain (NFT)?

A StepsStamp Blockchain (NFT) is a unique digital asset that lets you mine SSBT by walking. Each Blockchain has 450 blocks, and activating a block requires 1,500 POM/day.

How does mining work with Blockchains?

Only Blockchain owners can mine SSBT. Mining rewards are decentralized and fixed:

Total Daily Mining Supply: 7,669 SSBT/day (distributed for 120 years).
Your Daily Reward: Depends on your Blockchain type:

At least 450 days (1 block/day). Consistency is key!

Can I activate multiple Blockchains at once?

No. Only one Blockchain can be active at a time.

What happens after I finish 300 and 450 blocks?

You’ll receive 150 Blocks in Mini StepsStamp Blockchain(New NFT) after 300 Blocks completed and 75 Blocks in Micro StepsStamp Blockchain(New NFT) after 450 Blocks completed as rewards. Use them to keep earning or transfer them.

What are the differences between White, Black, Silver, Gold, and Green Blockchains?

Can I sell my Blockchain (NFT) to someone else?

Yes! Inactive Blockchains or Mini or Micro Blockchains(NFTs) can be transferred or sold to others.

What happens if I lose access to my Blockchain (NFT)?

Your Blockchain is stored securely in your wallet. If you lose access, use your recovery phrase to restore it.

How do I purchase a Blockchain during Phases A-E?

Use BUSD to buy Blockchains. After Phase E, only SSBT will be accepted.

What if I miss Phases A-E?

After Phase E, you’ll need SSBT (purchased from exchanges) to buy Blockchains.

Are Phase bonuses time-limited?

Yes! Bonuses (welcome Phases Bonus, Investor Bonus, StepsStamp Watches) are exclusive to purchases made during their respective phases.

How do I earn referral rewards?

Share your referral link. When someone buys any Blockchain (NFT) using your link, you earn SSBT tokens equal to a percentage of their purchase in BUSD, based on your Blockchain tier:

White/Black Tier: 7%
Silver Tier: 8%
Gold Tier: 10%
Green Tier: 15%

Example:

If you own a Green Blockchain and your referral buys a White Blockchain (100 BUSD), you earn:
15% of 100 BUSD = 15 BUSD → Converted to SSBT at the current price (e.g., Phase A: 0.05 BUSD/SSBT) → 300 SSBT sent to your wallet!

Are there limits to referral rewards?

No! Refer as many friends as you want.

When do I receive referral rewards?

Immediately after your referral purchases a Blockchain.

Can I track my referral progress?

Yes! Check the “Referrals” tab in the app to see your earnings and pending rewards.

How is the Welcome Bonus in Phase A calculated?

The Welcome Bonus equals 20% of the Blockchain price in BUSD, converted to SSBT at the Phase A rate (1 SSBT = 0.05 BUSD).

● Example: Green Blockchain costs 10,000 BUSD → 20% = 2,000 BUSD → 2,000 / 0.05 = 40,000 SSBT.

What are StepsStamp Watches, and how do they work?

StepsStamp Watches are exclusive gifts for Silver, Gold, or Green Blockchain holders. They give you free daily SSBT rewards without walking, but hurry – they’re limited!

Silver Watch (1,000 units): 10 SSBT/day for 300 days.
Gold Watch (500 units): 50 SSBT/day for 450 days.
Green Watch (250 units): 100 SSBT/day for 730 days.

When will I receive my StepsStamp Watch?

What is the Investor Bonus in Phase A?

A daily SSBT reward paid for 30 days after purchasing a Blockchain. For example:

What is the Total Withdraw Limit in Phase A?

The maximum 10% BUSD you can swap for SSBT per Blockchain tier. For example:

What are manual and auto staking?

How long do payments take to process?

BUSD transactions are usually confirmed within 2-3 minutes on BSC.
